Theatre Scene
Toronto has the third largest theatre scene in the English-speaking world.It’s so big there is even a theatre dedicated to young people – which welcomes adults too.Broadway-style musicals are staged at historic theatres like the Royal Alexandra and the Canon Theatre.Mississauga is home to The Living Arts Centre and Stage West and in the north end of the city you’ll discover the Markham Theatre. For something off the beaten path,experience Famous People Players Dine and Dream Theatre.

Restaurant Scene
It’s often said that Toronto is the city of imagination. Nowhere is that more true than when it comes to the restaurant scene. Whatever you’re craving, the city can satisfy. Baklava dripping with honey? Head to Greektown. Butter chicken? Little India. Dim sum? Chinatown. It’s an epicure’s delight. It’s also great for those who aren’t sure what epicure means, but are hungry just the same.

Entertainment District
This area of downtown Toronto is the hotspot, where everything comes together. Watch the Blue Jays at Roger's Centre then walk over to King Street and see a musical. Take in a Second City comedy improv show,then go around the block and take your pick of the nightclubs. Follow up a candlelit meal with a motorcycle race – simulated – at Vinnie’s Social Hall, revving it up right next to the pool tables.

Distillery District
With over 40 buildings, most dating back to the mid-1800s,the Distillery District is the oldest new thing in the city. Until recently the only action on its cobblestones were film shoots. WWII Europe? Depression-era Chicago? It passed as that. Today its dramatic Victorian industrial architecture is finally being allowed to represent itself.

Toronto’ s a hockey town. Not to mention basketball, baseball, lacrosse … . The thunder of hoofbeats is the soundtrack for a visit to Woodbine Racetrack. This is Canada’s leading thoroughbred racing venue, one that also features standard-bred harness racing and thousands of slot machines. It’s also a unique place to enjoy a romantic dinner or hold a special get-together.

With so many exciting things to experience in the Greater Toronto Area, you'll want to look around every corner just to see if you discover something new. You may be along the scenic Don River and discover the Todmorden Mills Heritage Museum and Arts Centre. You could find yourself in the cockpit of an F/A-18 flight simulator at Air Combat Zone in Mississauga, or taking in the sights, sounds and feel of WWI air combat aircraft at The Great War Flying Museum in Brampton.
