Here at Tourism Toronto, we’re very cognizant of our impact on the environment. Over the last few months, we’ve changed the way we work to minimize our footprint while continuing to educate ourselves as an organization. We’ve assembled a Green Team that oversees both our internal and external practices. We’re adopting composting practices and are in regular communication with our landlords to explore how best to reduce our waste and energy consumption. Daily practices, like double-sided printing and purchasing paper with high recycled fibre content has reduced our overall consumption of trees.

We offset all business flights with Carbon Zero. We are also proud members of the Green Meetings Industry Council and have recruited their expertise to provide comprehensive green services for our meeting and convention clients. And because our city is our business, we’re constantly striving to find new ways to integrate green practices into everything we do.
